Retail Assistant

Best one convenience store is hiring a Retail Sales Associate!

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Duties:

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly manner.
• Provide accurate information about products and services.
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products and services.
• Conduct price and feature comparisons when needed to ensure best products are sold in the store.
• Maintain flooring, walls, ceiling fans, picture frames and other décor items with care.
• Manage stock by counting inventory at the beginning and end of each work shift.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to retail sales as well as all federal, state and local laws regarding sales practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
