QA (Quality Assurance Technician) - Food Production

We're looking for a Quality Technician (QA) to join our very fast paced/busy Bernard Matthews Derby site and be a part of the growing Technical Team. The successful candidate will support the production team and be responsible for the below listed:

Responsibilities (list not exhaustive):

• Carry out routine audits e.g. Glass, Foreign Bodies and Internal audits and check all paperwork– HACCP, GMP and any other Ad hoc audit requirements..
• Monitor safety, legality and quality of products produced.
• Conduct taste panels as required.
• Issue and brief all QA documentation.
• Conduct hygiene inspections.
• Carry out routine factory swabbing.
• Collect samples as required.
• Ensure agreed KPIs are met.
• Work within a dynamic, fast moving environment.
• Support the production teams and help/advise on CCPS and Food Safety.

Additional duties:

• Assist with the training and development of others where appropriate.
• Ensure effective communication.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as required.
• Promote and participate in Food Safety Culture.
• Comply with Health & Safety Regulations on site.
• Respect and comply with the Disciplinary Policy & Procedure.

Job Type: Permanent
