Barista craft cafe/bar

We are currently hiring for bar staff.

We are a hostel/bar and are looking for energetic fun staff to join our team.

The role of bar staff will include general bar duties, serving drinks and food to customers, having good communication with customers and co workers. Having excellent product knowledge and delivering high standards of customer service.

The site caters for breakfast, lunch, dinner and fast casual diners. Being twinned with St Christopher's Inn, Europe's leading back packers hostel, provides us with the opportunity to share best practice through a network of over 13 different sites including Bath, Edinburgh, Newquay, London, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Prague.

The business shows a variety of sports and caters for an extensive list of parties so group bookings are a valuable source of income. We run a vibrant multicultural business so ability to communicate with co workers and guests is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be fun, friendly, positive and open to new changes and experiences.

• Have experience within a bar environment

• Be willing to work early mornings, late nights and weekends.

• Have high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

• Commit to working weekends is an absolute must.

• Have excellent product knowledge

• Must have NI number, UK bank account, Photo ID / passport, also right to work if needed.

Essential requirements

You must:

• Be eligible or have all necessary documentation in which to be legally employed in the country, which you are based

• All Documentation required by any Local/Regional/National certifying or Governing bodies in which to operate legally within you units country

• Have a up to date/active bank account in your own name

• Be able to converse fluently in English

• Where live in accommodation is not provided. Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the hotel/bar

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50 per hour
