As a Barclays Scrum Master this is an exciting opportunity where you would be part of the Barclays Strategic Change team, managing and transforming the Barclays End to End change lifecycle. A spart of the team you will be responsible for helping to deliver seamless, end-to-end technology and process solutions for our colleagues and support the vision and strategy to successfully deliver change solutions.

What will you be doing?
• Supporting to shape requirements and working with stakeholders to manage priorities and plan deliver of new components or changes to the current set of applications
  • Owning a number of ceremonies including stand-ups, planning sessions, show and tell and retrospectives
  • Championing agile ways of working, growing, and promoting cultural best practices, such as backlogs
  • Being responsible for incremental adjustment to working models allowing autonomous yet highly aligned feature / scrum teams to thrive
  • Focusing on improving and tracking feature team velocity and instill Agile best practice in the team working closely with agile coaches and engineering managers to achieve this
  • Leading on scrum team efficiency and making sure tracking of key metrics is utilised correctly


What we’re looking for:
• Significant understanding of Agile, scrum and related methodologies
  • Experience working in cross functional agile teams within a distributed team model
  • Scrum Alliance certified Scrum Master
  • Excellent Experience in working in an end-to-end software development lifecycle


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Significant understanding and experience of SAFe / LeSS
  • Has had success in independently driving adoption of innovations across large organisations
  • Knowledge and experience of other methodologies such as Lean Kanban / XP / Mob programming etc
  • Analytical skills with data driven approach and ability to grasp technical design

Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
