Print Operator

As a member of our Print Section, the main purpose of your role is to externally coat and decorate the can according to the required specification.

The Key responsibilities of the role include

• To observe company health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• To comply with BRC requirements at all times
• To set and run the printing line
• To prepare materials required for the next job on the programme and ensure they are in good order
• To isolate any non-conforming product and report to Shift manager and QC
• To hand over to the on-coming Print Operative and inform him/her and Shift Manager of the state of the line
• To communicate effectively with other team members.
• To minimise waste and maintain a clean and tidy work place.
• To maintain accurate records according to Ball Aerocan requirements.
• To carry out any other work or duties, as the workload so requires

This role is working a rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights and weekends. The shift pattern is shown below. The hours are 6am - 6pm and 6pm-6am
