Position – Production Technician/Fabricator

Our small business is located in between Scunthorpe and Gainsborough and is certainly a company guilty of being a small business with big, BIG plans. We firmly believe that we have our eyes fixed facing the future producing some potentially industry changing products. We aim to provide a friendly work environment and want to help all our employees get the most out of themselves.

The Role

Let’s get the boring bits out of the way first –

· It is a fast-paced environment

· You will work to daily, weekly and monthly targets

· You will work from job sheets to understand product sizes and specifications

· Work to and exceed where possible the companies high quality standards

Expectations (the usual list) –

· Prompt, punctual and look smart

· Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and saws

· The confidence to work on your own once you have had sufficient training

· Become an integral part of the team and the company big, BIG plans

· Want to learn and embrace change

· Willing to listen to advice and help (everyone wants to help you help yourself)

· Be polite to all your colleagues and any customers (yeah, goes without saying)

· You need to be the type of person that gets enjoyment out of getting stuff done

· You don’t need a huge skill set, just have a reasonable practical ability and the willingness to challenge yourself everyday

· You need to be detailed focused, we don’t want people to rush through and make a half-assed job, we need you to be detailed focused and get the job done right first time

· You need to be meticulous in your work and attitude
