General Farm Workers

Based at our poultry farm in Beith, North Ayrshire, opportunity has arisen for 2 x general farm workers. The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate competent poultry husbandry skills, such as ensuring feed is available at all times, checking watering systems, weighing birds, collecting of eggs, monitoring bird welfare/behaviour, bio-security protocols and general farm maintenance.

Full training will be provided, although previous poultry experience would be advantageous.

The working pattern for these roles are:

0-22 wks 24 hours (3 days Mon - Fri) + 5 hrs Sat & Sun Alt w/ends

23-52 weeks 24 hours (3 days Mon - Fri) + 8 hrs Sat & Sun every weekend

Salary starts at £20,825.71 with the potential to rise to £22,012.93

Candidates must have access to own transport due to location of farm and start times. No accommodation provided.
