We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Charity Shop Retail Assistant. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission of providing services and support for individuals with autism and related disabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations including maintaining a clean and organised shop, serving customers, and processing donations. Your excellent customer service skills and positive attitude will be crucial in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our customers, many of whom may be directly impacted by autism. You will support the shop manager in maximising profits and donations to help us raise valuable funds.

Key responsibilities include:
Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day operations of the shop
Sort, steam, hang, label, and size donated items
Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Help maintain a clean and organised shop environment, ensuring that it is tidy and presentable at all times
Refresh static and window displays, adhering to display policy
Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff
We are looking for someone with the following:
Previous experience of working in a charity shop environment
Experience in cash handling
Experience in a customer facing environment
Computer literacy and administration skills
