£99 (+ VAT) per day + the opportunity to boost earnings with a performance based bonus scheme.

Ascent Logistics Ltd are seeking applications for full-time, part-time and flexible self-employed multi-drop delivery drivers. Some weekend work is required. We deliver parcels on behalf of a market leading online retailer in and around the Bolton area.

Requirements:

· Must be over 21 and been driving a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes

· Multi-drop delivery or commercial driving experience is an advantage but not essential (training is provided)

· Must hold a valid UK or EU driving license for a minimum of 1 year

· No more than 6 penalty points or driving endorsements (DR, DG, IN, MS or TT)

· Have the right to work in UK

· Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23kgs)

· Reliable, polite, professional and friendly manner

· Willingness to work weekends

· Agreement to drug & alcohol test (cost covered by us)

· Agreement to a full DBS check (cost covered by us)

· Able to commute to and from the delivery station in BL5

What we provide:

· Branded Mercedes Sprinter/Ford Transit Vans fully insured and fuel provided for use whilst at work

· Twelve days of training fully paid

· Uniform

· Devices for use whilst at work with route pre-loaded

· Packages are pre-picked and loaded on to cages allowing quick loading turnaround in the warehouse

· Weekly pay (2 weeks in arrears)

Responsibilities:

· Be able to work in a fast paced environment

· Commit to some weekend work

· Load vans and deliver packages in local areas

· Carry out a pre and post daily vehicle inspection

· Adhere to strict safety regulations while on site and road (PPE required)

· Operate an electronic delivery device with GPS navigation

· Able to follow instructions, Problem solve and take initiative

· Interact with customers and the public in a professional manner

· Work as part of a team and on your own.
