Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant/Vending Operative to join our team at Sainsburys Frozen Distribution Centre Pineham Nothampton . The successful candidate will assist the management team in the provision of an efficient catering service to the standards required by Aramark.

This is a part time role working 20 hours per week,

Flexibility required to cover different shifts

3 Key Responsibilities

As a Food Service Assistant you are an important part of our customers’ day and your main priority is to ensure our customers are provided excellent customer service alongside working in the kitchen doing basic food preparation. What would my main responsibilities be?

· Provide a fantastic customer service experience

Fill and clean various Vending machines around distribution centre

· Prepare and serve our popular well-loved products

· Ensure that our stores look presentable and vibrant

· Be happy, friendly, smile and have fun

Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.

Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.

Preparation of service area and/or service points.

Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.

Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times.

To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relations.

Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.

Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s equal opportunity policy.

4 Key Requirements

High personal standards and attention to detail

Experience in a similar role essential

Strong interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP

Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge
