Position Overview: As the HR Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our HR policies, procedures, and practices align with applicable laws and regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Operations, to develop, implement, and monitor compliance initiatives. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex regulations will be critical to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance in all HR-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR processes, systems, and records to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to address compliance issues, develop solutions, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR staff and managers to ensure awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints related to HR compliance matters.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders, such as government agencies, auditors, and legal representatives, regarding HR compliance matters.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Experience in HR compliance, employment law, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
