Warehouse Operative / Assembler

This role is for 20-25 hours per week,with an expectation that colleagues commit to additional hours up to 38, during peak weeks throughout the year.

Working with our Warehouse team at our depot in Saltash, you will play a vital role in safely picking and assembling orders to supply our SPAR retail stores across the Southwest.

Do you have?

• Previous warehouse experience (preferred);
• Previous pallet / fork lift truck driving experience (preferred but not essential);
• Good timekeeping and a flexible approach to your working hours;
• The ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety guidelines, including manual handling.

More about the role:

This role is an active role in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for:

• The accurate voice picking and assembling of retailers’ orders ensuring that products are stacked to specified standards;
• Ensuring a good standard of housekeeping is maintained in the working area at all times;
• Working to a high standard and to the required performance.
