Job description

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a lady with complex care needs.

If you are committed, motivated, and enjoy delivering one-to-one support then this could be just the position you are looking for!

Our service user lives with her partner and daughter in Gnosall and requires support throughout the night on a full or part-time basis.

She is at her happiest when surrounded by her family and extended family.

Coming from a teaching background, she has a naturally caring nature. She loves to get outdoors and takes great pride in her garden. Her other hobbies include listening to 80’s music, watching TV, and reading books.

Your role as her dedicated Healthcare Assistant will be to support her social and personal care needs, administer medication, carry out careful moving and handling, and tend to her clinical interventions.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory care and oral suctioning however, this is not essential as we offer full comprehensive training to support all her clinical needs.

We ask that you can evidence a strong background in healthcare, have the willingness to upskill into the role of a Complex Care Assistant, and are committed to supporting our service user on a long-term basis.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months of previous healthcare experience
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of multiple sclerosis
  • Gastrostomy care (PEG Feeding)
  • Oral suctioning

Shifts Available

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family.
