Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a very sociable young boy who lives at home with his family in Halesowen.

He attends school during the week where he thrives on interacting and socialising with his friends and teachers. You will be required to support him there with his social needs and development.

During the night you will carry out regular observations to ensure he has a restful night’s sleep.

When at home he likes watching TV and DVD's; his favourite characters are Peppa Pig, Moana and Elsa and Anna. He also enjoys playtime activities with his care team and family such going out to the park, going to the cinema or playing with toys at home.

Our ideal applicant will be friendly and outgoing and be passionate about working with children.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

• 3 months previous care experience working with children
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Gastrostomy Care
• Nebuliser Care
• Oxygen Administration
• Oral Suctioning
• Tracheostomy Care

We have the following shifts available;

• Full Time / Part Time
• Nights
• 9pm – 7am

Weeknights : £13.00 per hour (Approx. £117 per shift)

Weekends : £13.00 per hour (Approx. £117 per shift)

Bank Holiday : £14.00 (Approx. £126 per shift)
