Manual Machinist / Turner

The role is for a manual machinist / Turner

Duties to include

• Working from engineering drawings,
• Work to close tolerances
• Operating XYZ Manual Mill
• Operating XYZ Manual Lathe
• Surface Grinding
• Cleaning and assembly of components

Opportunities to learn CNC Machining and programming using offline software

The successful applicant will need to

· have a high attention to detail as products need to be finished to a high standard

· be able to follow instructions

· work as part of a team as well as using own initiative

· be able to problem solve

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30 (40 hours per week) with overtime available Monday - Thursday at 1.5 times basic pay

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

• Lathe / Turning: 3 years (preferred)
