Antler runs 3-month programs for talented technologists, commercial experts and domain leaders to support startup generation from scratch. We help individuals find co-founders and validate, build and grow their technology companies. Antler funds select companies with up to a £120,000 cash investment after three-months. Following Antler's investment, our operating team and advisors work closely through the growth phase of the companies.

The Finance Analyst Role

We are currently looking for a top performing individual for a finance analyst. As a Finance Analyst you will get to work with both the Antler team as well as our world-class founders.

Responsibilities

• Support formulation of the management accounts and forecast on a monthly basis, liaising with the external bookkeepers where required
• Support timely reporting to investors, governmental regulatory bodies, advisors and other relevant third parties
• Support finance manager in the preparation of annual financial statements, external audit requirements and tax filing with regulators
• Manage the accounts payable and cash management process, liaising with suppliers where required
• Hands-on support of investment and capital teams to drive investments, investor relations and founder & portfolio management initiatives
• Support portfolio companies and founders during and after the investment process
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Your background

• Interest in venture capital and startups
• Higher education and previous experience within accounting, auditing or legal/compliance
• Highly Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office or Google Suite
• Proactive and positive personality with excellent communication skills
• Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance and supervision across time zones
• High level of integrity and takes accountability of work
• Ability to propose constructive and creative ideas to address observed gaps
• Ability to thrive on challenges in a very fast-paced and high-volume environment where quality and speed are of essence
• Comfortable dealing with various stakeholders such as founders and investors
• Highly analytical, and organized with an excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
