Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for an animal welfare assistant to work 40 hours per week, to include 4 weekdays and one weekend day. Duties will include mucking out and feeding a variety of animals, dogwalking, socialising animals, assisting with treating sick animals where required, sorting laundry and keeping storage areas tidy. A full clean Driving Licence would be preferable, although is not essential. The job is physically demanding and the successful candidate will need to be able to lift and carry objects, handle large animals, work either alone or as part of a team depending upon the task, use a variety of equipment ie hoses, shovels, wheelbarrows etc. The pay is national minimum wage/living wage dependent on age (please see Government website). It is essential that the applicant is passionate about the welfare of all animals, is reliable and is committed to making a difference.

Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
