Tour Guide

Anderson Tours is looking for London based Tour Guides who are good with customers and interested in History. Full training can be given to suitable applicants if there are locations and attractions you are unfamiliar with.

Key Skills:

• Customer service experience and managing groups of people
• Interest in History
• Tour guiding experience or an interest in learning to guide
• Flexible working hours and willingness to work some weekends and bank holidays
• Good spoken English and literacy skills
• Second language is a plus as you will be dealing with international customers

Tour guiding work is freelance and it looks like we'll be enjoying another busy season in 2023. It is essential to enjoy interacting with people from around the world and experiencing different places, plus having a genuine interest in history and culture. This can be a rewarding and fascinating job, getting out and about in the summer, meeting people from all over the world.

We go to popular locations such as Stonehenge, Bath, Dover Castle, Windsor Castle, The Cotswolds and many more. We also have some interesting off the beaten track tours that visit locations such as Glastonbury and Avebury.

Salary: £180.00-£200.00 per day

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Flexitime
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
