Experienced Sewing Machinist

AMI Medical, a leading medical garment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced sewing machinist to enhance our skilled team.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently operate industrial sewing machines, including threading up and adjusting machine tensions.
• Execute sewing tasks with precision and accuracy, paying attention to detail.
• Utilize expertise in sewing underwear, hosiery, or corsetry, as our operations involve similar machinery.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a sewing machinist, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in handling various industrial sewing machines.
• Knowledge of threading techniques and adjustments for optimal machine performance.
• Proven expertise in sewing garments such as underwear, hosiery, or corsetry.
• Ability to work autonomously, while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting rate: £10.50 per hour. This rate is subject to review based on experience.
