We have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Data Science Consultant to join our Digital Consulting team.

Location: London

Reporting to: Head of Data Science & Analytics

You will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging your experience in delivering data-led solutions combined with technical skills, spanning data analytics, machine learning, system modelling and optimisation.
  • Maintaining an effective industry presence and an extensive network of industry contacts to develop and grow the pipeline of opportunities, securing client projects and delivering them across the team.
  • Leading technical and commercial aspects of significant and complex projects in data science & analytics, and developing novel solutions or approaches that address current or future client needs
  • Leading significant engagements with executive level clients, while giving direction, oversight, and leadership to the delivery team
  • Integrating appropriate data analytics into broader transformation to deliver targeted business objectives.
  • Working with the data science consulting leads to continuously develop the capabilities and culture of the team.

What makes this role unique

As part of the Data Science & Analytics team we’re looking for a Principal Consultant to join our amazing, collaborative team of 120+ employees working across UK&I, with offices in London and Manchester. You will have exposure to high profile projects, taking ownership in helping our clients transform their business operations and processes through change management, service design, business analysis, project management and business change. You’ll be given the opportunity to showcase your skills within a high performing group of professionals, where your contribution will be value, and your achievements celebrated.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of landing significant analytics-led business change in a large organisation
  • Experience in developing client relationships, growing a pipeline of qualified opportunities and a track record of converting opportunities into profitable business.
  • Experience of managing cross-functional analytics teams in the development and delivery of broad analytics requirements into major client projects.
  • Evidence of successfully developing and shaping new consultancy offerings connected with data science and analytics, bringing them to market and delivering a revenue stream.
  • Have a Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM subject (or equivalent portfolio/work experience)
