We are Hiring a Senior IT Specialist

Amadeo is a developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art access control solutions and a unique mechanical master keying system called FreeFlex for hotels, commercials, and residentials, with a solid commitment to excellence. As a company headquartered in Vienna, with over 35 years of experience in the market, we are present in eight countries and sell our products worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced senior IT specialist to join our team in London with a range of technical and business-focused skills and experience.

You will be responsible for Microsoft 365 administration, training and maintaining the Microsoft 365 platform, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring IT systems, and solving technical problems in computer systems, hardware, networks, and websites.

This role will suit professionals looking to develop their skills within Microsoft 365 who enjoy working in a fast-moving global business.

Requirements and skills

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies with experience supporting an enterprise.
  • Proficiency in website maintenance, backup, restore, email hosting, control panel experience, managing domains, and DNS setup.
  • Proficiency in providing technical support to end-users.
  • Proficiency in the working of servers, networks, computers, and peripherals
  • Extensive knowledge of system security and procedures for protecting the organisation’s data from intrusion or corruption
  • Advanced knowledge of hardware and software configuration
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and create work schedules with minimal supervision
  • Excellent troubleshooting, creative and technical problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the operational health of the Microsoft 365 environment, including security, availability, maintenance, performance, interoperability and reliability
  • Administration, support, and configuration of Microsoft 365 for new and existing users
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365-related issues, including connectivity and mobility, when alerted by monitoring software or staff
  • Execute, manage and lead users through the onboarding technical and support process
  • Support and resolve specific user deployment issues.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the current Microsoft 365 tools and understand the Microsoft roadmap and its impact on our business.
  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
  • Resolving logged errors promptly.
  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
  • Updating computer software. as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
  • Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.
  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading the organisation’s website.
  • Responding to and troubleshooting all website issues.
  • Identifying and responding to all website security breaches.
  • Be available to provide after-hours and weekend coverage as needed

Salary: £20.00-£40.000 per hour, depending on skills and experience
