About The Role
- Shift: 7pm - 7.30am, 4 on 4 off
- Salary: £14.88 p/h, overtime £18.54 p/h
- Location: Alconbury, PE28 4YA
The purpose of the role is to assist the Section Leaders in delivering an effective and efficient operation against daily and weekly targets and plans. Perform an active role in delivering an effective and efficient operation of the warehouse across both intake and despatch on a day to day basis.
- Drive the pick rate
- Ensure pallet heights are correct and match the daily callovers
- Ordering labels for finished goods
- Control break times of picking teams
- Deal with minor pick issues and escalate as required
- Cover section leader absences with no interruption of service
- Follow procedures for intake protocols and abide by company policies at all times.
- Ensure products are scanned and located correctly to the stores using the WMS.
- Assist in preparation of the stores for on-site efficiency.
About You
- Previous Warehouse experience is essential
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Previous experience within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment
- Good all-round communication skills and basic understanding of the English language
- A keen eye for detail
- Up to date MHE certificate (Counter Balance, Flexi or PPT).
