Dog Walker

We are hiring!

Dog walking is a rewarding job and brings a bit of happiness and joy to your day but it isn’t a glamorous job. We walk in packs of up to 8 dogs a time and walk in all weathers. So we are looking for a confident, caring and trustworthy person with a genuine love a passion for dogs to join our team, ideally someone who enjoys the outdoors and doesn’t mind getting a bit muddy from time to time. Someone who can think on their feet and follow instructions well. We look after other peoples dogs so a lot of trust and responsibility is put on us to love and care for these dogs like our own. As we see these dogs on regular basis commitment and consistency is key to build up a relationship with the dogs so they are happy being with us on walks.

Requirements

· Full clear Uk Driving licence for 3 years min (you will be required to drive a Renault traffic van)

· Experience working with animals (dogs preferred but training will be provided)

· Flexibility on hours to help cover holiday hours.

· Efficient communication skills (people and dogs)

· A good, reliable team player.

We are looking for someone who is confident driving and lives locally to B23.

Successful applicants must be willing to undergo DBS and reference checks and canine first aid training.

Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

Salary: £10.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We only use our own leads on the dogs and opperate a contact free pick up and drop off service( we dont come into contact with the owners when collecting or dropping off the dogs ) We do not except any dogs from a houshold that has covid 19.

• Birmingham, B23 5HE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
