Optical Laboratory Technician/Glazing Technician

We are looking for an experienced Optical Technician to work in our thriving, established optical business All Eyes Spectacle Makers, based in Over, Cambridgeshire. The candidate should ideally have at least 2-3 years experience of working as an Optical Technician/Lab Assistant/Glazing Technician. Experience of optical glazing, spectacle repairs, fitting etc

The role will involve all aspects of opthalmic lens glazing, repairs, lens fitting etc. The candidate should have good knowledge and experience of opthalmic lens technology, glazing equipment, dealing with lens orders and suppliers. Ideally at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

Candidates should have excellent attention to detail and a good team player. We are primarily a retail business with a thriving retail outlet providing great quality products and excellent service to customers for over 30 years. Candidates should have good communication skills, should be confident in dealing with customers and suppliers and happy to undertake a wide variety of roles within the team. The job offers the opportunity to learn new skills and will develop over to encompass wider responsibilities.
