Position Overview & Specifications
£25750 per annum
Growing, nationally recognised and successful food manufacturing business based in Longridge, Preston wishing to increase their sample recording, traceability and sustainability footprint
Monday to Friday alternate shifts 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm
Working within the manufacturing area you will be responsible for ensuring that technical information, product safety, quality and legality is maintained across the production and manufacturing site.
Ensuring all company procedures and regulations are followed, as well as demonstrating competent Health & Safety and Quality practices.
You will join a small team to develop and maintain the on-site Quality Management System, upholding accreditation's and complying with the current BRC and customer standards including HACCP implementation and review
- Responsible for samples audit & compliance - Investigating, responding, recording and reporting
- Receiving feedback and monitoring the quality of products and services provided
- Carrying out tests and checks to ensure any failures are documented appropriately
- Data Analysis - Ensuring all requested technical data is analysed daily/ weekly/ monthly/ annually
- Producing reports and statistics for management, as required
- Supporting the Technical Manager in completing customer and internal specifications
- Supporting and advising on any NPD projects
- Liaising with the external laboratory when required
- Assisting the Management Team and HR with the training of employees on new procedures and systems
- Carrying out day to day administrative tasks, ensuring the customer and legal requirements are met
- Ensuring that all Factory paperwork is filed correctly and can be easily retrieved
- Supporting the Management Team in delivering business objectives
- Managing objectives set by the Technical Manager, ensuring completion within the timescales provided
