Hourly rate: £11.00 per hour

Monday - Friday 8:30-16:30

Adecco are delighted to be working with our client based in West London and they have a need for a IT Support who will be the 1st Line support. They are looking for an individual with experience in hardware/software. CompTIA experience essential

Duties:

• Provide flawless service and to ensure a reputation of timely service delivery.
• Provide high-quality technical support, advice and guidance to the staff and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to all ICT needs of the school.
• Assist with the imaging, deployment, and maintenance of end user devices.
• Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer peripheral equipment, multifunctional printers, VoIP handsets and Interactive whiteboards (IWB's), ensuring that this hardware is regularly tested and ready for use when required.
• Assist with the installation and testing of new software and software updates / upgrades, always ensuring compliance with software licensing regulations and security implications.

ICT helpdesk service

• Ensure that helpdesk requests are resolved within the agreed target resolution times.
• Re-route or escalate support tickets to the line manager or to 3rd line support as necessary, and other stakeholders to achieve speedy resolution.
• Monitor the progress of helpdesk requests and communicate effectively with end users through to completion of request.
• Work in collaboration with ICT team, monitor and analyse helpdesk requests to identify patterns indicating underlying issues with service or need for user training.
