PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Permanent position * full time hours * afternoon shifts
Location: South Petherton
Hours: Monday to Friday: 2pm to 10pm

Rate of pay:

£11.25ph, increasing up to £15.00ph after completion of further required training.
£1.41 shift premium for hours worked from 5pm

As a Production Operative, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• To carry out production activities as efficiently as possible, after training.
• To operate production equipment as requested, after training and supervision.
• To ensure that the production requirement is made to the correct specification, in accordance with the shop orders at the highest quality standard.
• Ensure that all worksheets / documentation are filled in correctly during and at the end of the shift.
• Report any plant or quality faults or health and safety issues as soon as possible to Production Management Team.
• To ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards

The Production Operative we are looking for:

• Will have previous experience working in any kind of production industry with machinery experience
• Will be computer literate
• Will be a good team player
• Will be ambitious and interested in career development
• Will be reliable, well organised and a good problem solver
