Position Overview & Specifications
We want the best people to work for us and we know that a supportive and friendly working environment plays a key role in attracting and retaining employees. We promote the sharing of knowledge and invest strongly in training and development.
Our apprenticeship scheme lies at the heart of our business. Many of our leaders, in both the UK and Ireland, began their careers as apprentices and attribute their success to the skills they developed during their time on the programme.
As an apprentice, you'll receive both practical and theoretical training in a career of your choice. You'll have the chance to develop your expertise, meet new people and learn new skills in a supportive work environment.
We are currently providing opportunities to train in our Cutting Room as a Butcher and to prepare the apprentice for a successful career in the food and drink industry. You will learn all about the job and gain practical work experience while doing your apprenticeship.
We welcome those entering our business straight from school or college with apprenticeships that develop real skills and enhance every aspect of our candidates' professional standing.
We require 4 or more standard grades 1-3 grade including Maths and English or new grading equivalent for 2018 onwards
No experience necessary as we are looking to train the right candidates as part of their apprenticeship.
If you're keen to learn and have a strong desire for progression in the workplace, you'll make the ideal apprentice. You'll also need to be enthusiastic, resilient and industrious in our fast-paced work environment. Each apprentice needs to show progress and be able to combine work with their education.
