4 Kingdoms Adventure Farm and The Magical Christmas Adventure, an award-winning destination near Newbury, is seeking a talented and creative Website Designer to join our team. As a Website Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and creating an engaging digital experience for our visitors.

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Websites:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the brand identity and target audience.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs that align with the park's themes and events.
  • Develop responsive and optimized websites using modern web design technologies.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience by implementing intuitive navigation and interactive features.

Content Management:

  • Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and freshness.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather information and assets for website updates.
  • Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.

User Experience and Interface Design:

  • Conduct user research to understand visitor behaviors and preferences.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize website layouts and interactions.
  • Apply best practices in user experience (UX) design to optimize the website's usability and accessibility.
  • Design visually appealing user interfaces (UI) that enhance the overall website experience.

Website Performance and Analytics:

  • Monitor website performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for speed and efficiency.
  • Integrate web analytics tools to track and analyze user behavior, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Generate reports on website performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creators, and developers, to ensure website design and functionality meet project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any website-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Website Designer, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • Proficient in web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and experience in updating and maintaining website content.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience in optimizing website content for search engines.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
