Position Overview & Specifications
365 People are looking for an Operations & Transport Co-ordinator to join our client based in LE3.
This is a permanent role paying £27,500 per annum.
Shift pattern is 10:00-18:00 Monday-Friday which is a 35 hour working week with a 60 minute unpaid break per day.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: To maintain the administrative processes within the Transport Department and organize the Company’s outbound deliveries thereby making a measured contribution to the Company’s performance and profitability.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To administrate and produce all necessary paperwork relating to Warehouse Pick & Pack process, including –
Order Assembly
Picking Sheets
Dispatch Notes
Courier Labelling
2. To administrate the Transport Management System including –
Capacity and route planning
Data uploading
Route arrangement / preparation
Manifest production
3. To monitor Order Acknowledgements to ensure the following –
Appropriate delivery modes are allocated
Booking-in is completed as required
Any potential issues are reported and managed
4. To monitor and update courier portals with outgoing delivery information.
5. To investigate Customer Complaints relating to the Operations Department and instigate claims as required. Including the collation of all paperwork and 3rd party information.
6. To assist in the collating and management of reporting paperwork and data including –
Vehicle Inspection Reports
Fork Lift truck Inspection Reports
Tachograph Data
Maintenance and Damage Reports
Service and Contractor Information
Fuel Card Management
Waste Collections
7. Assist in the upkeep of Daily, Weekly and Monthly compliance and performance reports.
8. Maintain an Approved Contractor and Operational Supplier Register.
9. Liaise with internal departments to ensure Customer satisfaction is prioritized.
10. Liaise with internal departments and external providers to ensure the System is maintained. Working towards data-first principals to ensure we can remain system driven.
11. Liaise with external providers to ensure Customer satisfaction is prioritized.
12. General administration relating to the complex workings of the Operations Department, which may include –
Order/Delivery Management
Transport Management
Pick & Pack / Warehouse Upkeep
Returns and Collections
13. Any other reasonable duties requested by Management.
