Our client is a creative and exciting furniture retailer with enormous ambitions. Whilst they’ve been operating under one main brand for a number of years, they are now looking to take the next steps both with their existing brand and also with a brand new one. This will hopefully allow them to transition from a small, loved brand into a household name and they are excited to bring in the right people to help facilitate that growth. Their product is extremely high quality but with accessible prices, and they are targeting the mid-market space.
They are now looking for a graphic designer to be based out of their offices close to Watford with hybrid work options. They are looking for a junior designer who’s as interested in designing brilliant artwork as they are in measuring the results of it. As Graphic Designer you’ll be keen to make an impact and have your role and responsibilities grow as the business does.
Graphic Designer – Responsibilities
- Creation of daily and weekly promotional banners that make people want to buy either around cracking offers or stunning quality of product.
- Development of and adherence to brand guidelines that can be used across all communication points.
- Work closely with the social and email teams to create striking content for these channels that POPS on customers screens to drive traffic and sales.
- Assisting in managing the creation of product imagery, whether through photoshoots or working with a talented agency partner.
- Adaptation of existing imagery through amends on Photoshop.
- Creation of digital and printed advertisements
Graphic Designer – Required Skills
- Some design experience gained from agency or an in-house role.
Careful and methodical, with great attention to detail.
- Keen to measure the impact of your designs through analysis of results, and equally keen to test and adapt your creations to drive the best outcomes.
- Able to work efficiently when faced with tight deadlines.
- A great team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced with Adobe CC, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Able to share a brilliant portfolio of recent work that demonstrates your skills and ability
