Job Role: Technical Assistant - Food Manufacturing

Salary: £24,000-£26,000

Hours: Early starts / Shifts required.

Duties:

• Customer complaints; investigating causes and communicating results
• Writing product specifications
• Provide information and expertise internally on all food safety and quality related matters
• Ensure specifications and supplier approval is up to date
• Ensure process paperwork is correct and controlled
• Annual updates to quality procedures where/when required
• To contribute to the evolution of paperless food safety and quality paperwork

Ideally you will have :

• Knowledge of food laws and regulations, including allergens, nutritional and ingredient declarations
• Knowledge of labelling requirements within the food industry
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role within the food industry
• Good computer skills especially excel Computer literate, especially with excel
• Sharp attention to detail
