Job Title: Welder - Shipping Container Conversions

Location: London / Essex

Salary: Competitive based on experience

Working hours: 7am - 4 pm Monday to Friday (Additional overtime work available)

Purpose of the role: To work as part of our container conversions team to transform shipping containers into modified structures to suit our customer's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping container conversions
• Inserting ped doors
• Adding windows
• Inserting additional vents
• Ad hoc duties

About the role:

As a welder in the shipping containers conversions division, you will work with a skilled team to create bespoke shipping container structures. These large fabrications are designed, manufactured, and modified in-house at our local depot in Coryton.

The conversions department is part of a larger organisation that also specialises in shipping containers for sale and hire across the UK. You will be working as part of a dynamic, skilled team in a very easy-going and relaxed environment. No two days are the same and you can expect a varied workload which allows you to see projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Must have shipping container experience to be considered (minimum 1 year).
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
