Temporary Housekeeper - Kensington

TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR UHNW RESIDENCE IN LONDON

Location: Kensington, London

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (17thMarch-26th April)

Salary: £20-£22 p/h (gross), negotiable

Status: Live-out

A Central London based UHNWI is looking to appoint a temporary Housekeeper to cover the leave of one of their permanent housekeepers from 17th March to 26th April 2023. Reporting to the House Manager and working as part of a team, you will ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the property.

You will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and knowledge of how to care for furniture and surfaces with high-end finishes, and any laundry knowledge would be welcomed to. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well-presented and have a strong work ethic and positive, ‘can-do’ attitude as well as being very friendly and personable, whilst still remaining discreet and boundaried. The role will include assisting with service when required, so someone who is comfortable in a front of house role is highly desired.

Working 12 hours daily, the role will be either 5 or 6 days per week, depending on the client’s schedule.

There are no pets at the property.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Cleaning including dusting, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms

· Caring for artworks, silver, antiques etc.

· Assisting with laundry when required

· Liaising with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the household

· Laying tables, serving at the table

· Ad-hoc tasks as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior Housekeeper experience in a private household

· Fluency in English both spoken and written

· Hardworking and dedicated

· High attention to detail

· Flexibility with hours and duties

· Able to work independently with little supervision

· Trustworthy and reliable

· Excellent checkable references
